A very valid critique. Where are religious and spiritual folk on this?

I love how Zimbardo broke major ground  as a psychologist with the Stanford Prison Experiment. I think he sheds important light in this brief video on the social and psychological dangers of our culture of overstimulation, video games, and pornography. A lot of our religious and spiritual folk have spoken on this, and people look at them a bit cross eyed when tell people to get off the internet, turn off the tv and video games, and to stay away from porn and sexualized images. These things are spiritually damaging, but now that we are starting to see that even physiologically we are changed by over stimulation and social isolation.  Religious and spiritual folk can begin to draw on science to show how these are all connected and that over stimulation has drowned out our ability to hear our Lord, improve our character, and develop real relationships.
